About the release:
Rotating Frames is the new EP for Pole Group by our very own duo Exium. Four tracks of modern and obscure techno, fuelled by heavy sub-bass action.
«Monopoles» opens fire with massive bass frequencies and continuous hat lines, joined by an obsessive sequence that mutates while it moves around the arrangement.
The approach of «Magnetic Flux» is deeper than the previous track, starting with flanged sequences and a subtle bass drum. Bell-like sounds grow from zero until drones and atmospheres appear from the slight breakdown.
«Rotating Frames» goes straight to the point and rises the tempos a bit, continues with the flanged and phased sequences and relies on a more percussive vibe.
«Early life» is the last number here: robotic FM sounds, effected noise hits, continuous synth lines and a constantly growing structure.
BJÖRK ACTUÓ POR SORPRESA COMO DJ EN 5º ANIVERSARIO DE TRI ANGLE RECORDS
NewsEl pasado viernes 14 de mayo, Tri Angle Records celebró su quinto aniversario con una fiesta en un banco abandonado en distrito financiero de Nueva York. El evento formaba parte del programa del festival Red Bull Music Academy New York que se está celebrando a lo largo de todo el mes.
Actuaron artistas de Tri Angle como Holy Other, Forest Swords, Haxan Cloak, Evian Christ, Vessel, Hanz, Robin Carolan, Mssingno, Lotic y Rabit. Sin embargo, la sorpresa de la noche fue la actuación como DJ de la mismísima Björk.

About the release:
Brainchild of two passionate and likeminded artists, A Sacred Geometry was born as a platform to illustrate techno as a narrative, forgoing the strictly dancefloor nature of the medium. Influences from noise, ambient and new wave coupled with their graphic identity play a crucial role in how the music is perceived, as the journey continues with each new cover art.
As the tale begins with ‘Atiya’, audiences experience a cacophony of slow building acid-like synths which help propel the element of mystification to the forefront of the track. ‘City of Ys’ continues this trend with an enigmatic voice-like tone that glides the listener through the track. The distinct inclusion of brass samples add to the melancholic atmosphere slowly ushering the listener into a dream-like consciousness. ‘Maroush (Dub Edit)’ takes on a different attitude, as deep ambient atmospheres prevail with Eastern inspired string instruments induce feelings of escapism.
One can be expected to continue on this journey, as this is only Chapter I of the chronicle, A Sacred Geometry will develop and evolve as the story continues to unfold.

Su adolescencia fue un suplicio. Él, que solo deseaba cruzar callado, mirando al suelo, tenía que decir gracias o buenos días cada dos por tres. Se preguntaba por qué había tanta gente en todas partes. ¿Por qué todo lo que hacemos está dirigido a otras personas, ya sea para impresionarlas, o para que nos dejen en paz? ¿Nadie más vivía atormentado por esa inquietud? Ser diferente parece una desgracia cuando se es joven; pero, cuando maduras, la verdadera desgracia es ser uno más. Deseamos que reconozcan lo especiales que somos y que no nos desprecien por ello. Queremos integrarnos y, a la vez, destacar.
La mecánica que rige la sociedad le parecía tan incomprensible y fascinante, que se puso a estudiarla a fondo. Quería entender al individuo en toda su extensión, desde la diva que busca la reverencia de todo el mundo, al lobo solitario que no necesita nada de nadie. Pensaba que, si profundizaba lo suficiente en la conducta humana, podría predecirla. Fue así como descubrió las cuatro pautas que determinan la psicología esencial, las variables que se condicionan unas a otras, hasta provocar cualquiera de nuestras reacciones a los estímulos. Había descubierto el ADN del comportamiento humano, clave para desarrollar un software capaz de anticipar la respuesta de cualquier persona, con una precisión del 100%.
El funcionamiento del programa era simple: por un lado se introducían las características de la persona estudiada y por otro se disponía un evento hipotético. El sistema cruzaba las variables y daba un veredicto sobre la respuesta del sujeto ante esa situación. Una vez que la persona era sometida al evento real, su reacción coincidía siempre con el pronóstico del ordenador. Primero, experimentó el sistema consigo mismo. Como la máquina acertaba siempre, procuró mostrarse imprevisible para sorprenderla, pero nunca logró engañarla. Después probó con desconocidos y otras personas que no sabían que estaban siendo observadas. No hubo ni una sola predicción errónea.
Cuando se dio cuenta del alcance de su descubrimiento, se le ocurrieron mil aplicaciones prácticas. Desde la demoscopia a la publicidad, de la informática a la medicina, de las escuelas a los cuarteles, de la bolsa al casino, de la guerra a la paz. ¿Podría acabar su invento con la mentira, el egoísmo o la codicia, para sentar las bases de una civilización más solidaria y colaborativa? ¿Podría anticipar los errores para ayudar a corregirlos? Se imaginaba fotografiado en las portadas de revistas científicas, alabado por su aportación a un mundo mejor, cuando le vino a la mente una imagen suya sentado en un trono escarpado como una montaña, rodeado de una marea de súbditos arrodillados, que se extendía en todas direcciones hasta perderse en el horizonte.

With the BALLROOM label we fulfill our desire to put out our own music and that of our artists of BALLROOM booking agency for full musical freedom and expression. This means we are not following one musical route or style but bring on the full spectre of techno music. With BALLROOM 001, the 3 tracker “Phangan” EP by us, Kaiser Souzai, we are setting a benchmark for trippy, haunting annd bouncy techno, inspired by the jungles and outdoor parties of Ko Phangan. This will be followed by a 4 tracker EP from our artist Josh Vox, with an almost progressive and dark haunting techno release. Our aim is quality over quantity, and only three or four trackers, will be released to give the artist the propper spotlight.

There were more then a few who have certified that Kaiser Souzai have created a new musical genre. They have carved their own niche, somewhere between dark tech, synth loaded electronica and artrock techno gigantism, abroad the mainstream, still reaching regularly the top 10 of the electronic music selling portals like Beatport.
