Ontal es el proyecto colaborativo creado en 2011 por los serbios Boris Noiz y Dekode. Ambos absolutamente centrados en el techno más oscuro y apocalíptico, escupen piezas mecánicas sobre escenarios de futuras posguerras, ciudades desoladas y terrenos calcinados.
Tienen muy claro su objetivo: retorcer los límites de la música electrónica con creaciones intensas y únicas. Llegar al extremo al tensar las cuerdas. Para ello utilizan el material que han ido acumulando en los últimos años, donde abundan propuestas cargadas de energía, así como la experiencia lograda tras varias actuaciones en Europa. El futuro más inmediato del proyecto es publicar unos pocos releases anuales que contendrán colaboraciones y remixes de varios artistas con los que comparten una visión similar del sonido. Un buen ejemplo de este tipo de alianzas es este release, que incluye dos versiones de 2nd Gen, un misterioso noise-maker, de los que cuesta sudar sangre averiguar información referida a él. El disco ha sido masterizado por Voidloss, respetadísimo «señor oscuro», lo que nos hace entender que estamos ante un dúo al que no le falta buenos contactos en el terrorismo sonoro más underground.
En definitiva, proyecto para paladares curtidos. Melindrosos, absténganse.
RECLAIM YOUR CITY DE XT3 RADIO SE ESTRENA COMO SELLO
NewsLo que comenzó siendo originalmente un show de la radio alemana XT3 Radio, Reclaim Your City (RYC), se ha ganado la reputación de serie de podcasts de muchísima calidad. Desde 2012 han sido publicados 86 incluyendo a grandes nombres del techno contemporáneo como Jeroen Search, Adriana Lopez, Fabrizio Lapiana, Exium y Jonas Kopp entre otros. Así pues, con este éxito a sus espaldas, RYC ha decidido dar el siguiente paso y establecerse como sello utilizando su poderoso concepto como plataforma.
Con cada nuevo lanzamiento, RYC exhibirá dos ciudades influyentes en la escena del techno underground y seleccionará dos artistas locales que ejemplifiquen un estilo contemporáneo, a la vez que la visión que RYC tiene del techno. Además, estas entregas irán acompañadas de un cuidado artwork inspirado en la oscuridad y arquitectura de las regiones escogidas.
Para el primer lanzamiento, que se publicará el 4 de diciembre de 2014, han decidido mostrar París y Berlín, históricamente conocidas por su expertise en el género. Zadig y Antigone defienden el techno parisino, mientras que Blind Observatory y Subjected se ocupan del berlinés.
Habrá que estar atentos a esta iniciativa, la colección tiene toda la pinta de ser una auténtica celebración del techno alrededor de todo el planeta.

From the deep and raw side of techno comes the artist markus masuhr.he lives in leipzig/germany and is the labelboss from the recordlabel «pragmat» and the netlabel «insectorama». Markus started with electronic music in 1993 with friends at a youth club and illegal parties in Leipzig, he went on spinning techno records till 1997.After a three-year-detour over hip hop – Markus was a DJ of local sound crews – he eventually came back to 4/4 rhythms. Joining various party crews in Leipzig, Markus made himself a name as a highly skilled techno DJ.
At the same time, Markus came to appreciate deep and raw techno and following to the dubtechno sound. Till this day, deep and raw techno and dubtechno sound are his main influences. When turning to produce electronic music himself in 2003, he chose to express his versatile style preferences in his own works as well – making tracks and live acts ranging from deep techno with dub elements to raw techno. in the last years he has published on countless netlabels[insectorama/nulabel/deepindub/tropic…]worldwide. In the middle of the year 2012 starts his own 12inch techno recordlabel «pragmat».only for his own interpretation of pure deep and raw techno with dubtechno elements. He himself describes his sound as techno that you feel approaching from the rear of the hard but deep with chords echos and delays in a 4/4 pattern dubtechno construct.

STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS DESVELA EL SEGUNDO LANZAMIENTO POR SU 5º ANIVERSARIO
NewsZeitgeber y L.B. Dub Corp son los protagonistas de la segunda entrega de la serie Five Years Of Artefacts de Stroboscopic Artefacts.
Zeitgeber es el proyecto colaborativo entre Lucy (dueño del sello) y el lord del techno alemán Speedy J. Su alias conjunto dio a luz un interesantísimo disco el año pasado que han presentado en sets y actuaciones por festivales y clubs por todo el planeta. El track que incluyen en este disco es su primer lanzamiento oficial desde el anterior álbum.
L.B. Dub Corp es nada más y nada menos que otro alias de Luke Slater que le permite crear de una manera algo crudamente inspirada en la cultura house. Para la ocasión, revisita un club-track clásico propio.
